Events Management Executive

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, co-ordinate and execute events
  • Enlist and manage volunteers in the execution of events
  • Ensure events are organized in accordance with governmental regulations
  • Manage and ensure adequate logistic support

Job Specifications

  • Min Diploma in any discipline, preferably with 2 years of relevant experiences in project/ event management
  • Excellent facilitating, communication, problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Proactive, people-oriented, team player, cheerful, positive and committed
  • Ability to multi-task and work within time frame with minimal supervision
  • Irregular working hours and able to work on weekends

Project Executive

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementation of programmes and initiatives to engage within the community
  • Ensure programme effectiveness that meet the needs of the community
  • Monitor, review and evaluate department programmes and initiatives
  • Enlist and manage volunteers in the execution of events
  • Assist in departmental budgeting and monitoring project expenditures

Job Specifications

  • Min Diploma in any discipline preferably with 2 years relevant experiences in community service or events management
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good interpersonal and co-ordination skills, meticulous with pleasant disposition
  • Able to work independently and keen in community building work
  • A team player and the ability to multi-task
  • 5-day work week and must be willing to work on weekends

EXECUTIVE, PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop key messages, corporate identity, style guides, and protocols to determine communication strategy for critical issues, including crisis communications. Develops system-level standards and protocols for critical communication events
  • Provides advice and counsel to staff who serve as spokespeople in specific and/or sensitive situations and serves as organisation spokesperson in routine situations
  • Crisis Communications
    – Serves as, or identifies and directly supports, designated crisis spokesperson(s)
    – Owns Risk Assessment and Business Continuity function within the department
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
  • Copywriting, editing, proofreading and translation (Eng & Chi) of all organisation communications materials
  • Research media coverage and monitor organisation news and industry trends through daily media tracking
  • Initiate and lead strategic and targeted engagement with stakeholders, e.g. media / donors / public, to increase visibility of KMSPKS, its programmes, services and events
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to craft and pitch press releases; develop story banks with fresh story ideas
  • Leverage traditional and new media, above and below the line, to communicate KMSPKS’ value propositions to the target internal and external audience
  • Provides advice and counsel to the management and other staff regarding the public relations opportunities and challenges
  • Serves as designated authority for public data requests. Coordinates responses to inquiries and complaints from visitors, participants, devotees, community and general public

Job Specifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent with minimum 2 years of working experience in similar capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with internal and external contacts
  • Experience in copywriting and content creation required
  • Good knowledge of media landscape and network is a bonus
  • Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision, has good initiative and efficient multi-tasker
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to manage Mandarin speaking users

F&B Service Crew

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare/clear and clean up all utensils, tables and chairs at F&B Dept
  • Serve and pack food
  • Dishwashing duties
  • Support other ad-hoc banquets
  • Maintain general cleanliness, order and hygiene of F&B
  • To take on other tasks as and when required by the Management

Job Specifications                      

  • 1 year relevant experience
  • Basic hygiene and safety training
  • Helpful and co-operative
  • Able to work on weekends and irregular hours

Technician (M&E)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance, repairs and minor installation of machines / equipment
  • Routine testing and inspection pertaining to M&E issues
  • Supervising contractors during installation and maintenance works
  • Setting up of audio and video systems
  • Support Monastery’s events and activities as assigned by superiors

Job Specifications

  • Min NTC 2/3 with 3 years relevant experience in M&E/ Building Maintenance
  • Able to write simple service report in English
  • Possess initiative and work well with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • 6-day work week and must be willing to work on weekends
  • Class 3 driving license is an advantage
