*Enhancing Buddhist Education through Cooperative Learning*
Cooperative Learning makes classroom learning Fun, Easy and Successful. Course participants will experience and learn what Cooperative Learning is and how it is useful in conducting lessons and classroom management. It is an essential set of soft skills which employ effective engagement strategies to enhance classroom learning. Through purposeful implementation of Class building and Teambuilding processes, it allows students to rely on students themselves to increase one anotherĄ¯s knowledge base and social skills.

Jeffrey Khoo is currently the Principal of KMSPKS Saturday Sunday School. Presently the school has more than 800 students and 80 volunteer teachers. He has been involved in Buddhist Education for children since 1993.
During this period, Jeffrey has implemented Buddhist Studies through cooperative learning and multi-intelligence systems. In order for teachers to provide education to the students with a more holistic approach, Jeffrey trained the teachers in the cooperative learning system and interactive skills. He has demonstrated the ability to lead and manage the school through these years. His strong classroom management skills have helped to provide a conducive environment for the studentsĄ¯ learning and development.
