Venerable Sik Kwang Sheng, who has been the Chief Administrator of
the Monastery since 1995, received his new appointment officially in the ceremony
attended by more than 4,000 people.The ceremony was graced by the presence of
Elder Venerable Wu Feng, Venerable Long Gen, Venerable Wei Yan, Venerable Fa
Zhao,Venerable Jue Xing, and guests of honour Mrs Goh Chok Tong,Acting Health
Minister Khaw Boon Wan, Minister of State, Chan Soo Sen. many elder Venerables
and high officials from overseas.
1995年起担任本寺监院的释上广下声大和尚，在超过4000千嘉宾的祝福下升座成为本
寺新任方丈。当天出席典礼的贵宾包括悟峰长老、隆根长老、惟俨大和尚、法照大和尚、
觉醒法师、 吴总理夫人、卫生部代部长许文远先生、社会发展及体育部政务部长曾士生
先生、 海内 外诸山大德长老、政府官员等等。
