Administrator (Sat/Sun School)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* To handle all administrative works such as student enrolment & monitor dropout rates.
* To handle general enquiries
* In-charge of facilities, office equipment, logistics,
general order and cleanliness of office area.
* To manage the Compassion Bursary Fund
* To train and manage logistics volunteers, liase with
parents on student issues.
* Assist in the daily operations of the school
* Co-ordinate parent c lasses for the school
* Assist in other projects as and when assigned

Job Specifications:

* Possess at least a Diploma
* At least 3 years of working experience
* Able to meet tight schedules, work on weekends,
work long hours independently and under pressure
* S'pore Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Bilingual in English and Mandarin
* Class 3 license would be an advantage

Customer Service Officer (Able to work until Dec 08)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* To serve customers and donors
* To answer queries regarding the services available in the Monastery
* To process all revenue transactions


Job Specifications:

* Min O levels with at least 1 years of customer services experience
* Pleasant disposition with a natural flair to serve
* Proficiency in MS Office application
* Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin speaking users
* Required to work on public holidays and weekends

IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* Implement and support all IT   infrastructure  projects  & issues 
*Provide   technical guidance on the implementation of  projects
*Server (AD, Exchange , SMS, SQL, LINUX) and LAN administration
*Conduct  assesment and ensure  compliance to the  organisation's IT policies and  standards


Job Specifications:

*Degree/Diploma in IT / Computer Science
*2-4 years IT  infrastructure  experience
*Must be able to perform installation, configuration, administration, patching and maintenance of Microsoft Server 2003(Active Directory)
*Familiar with Microsoft Exchange 2003 ,Linux/Ubuntu
*Microsoft SQL administration knowledge is an advantage
*Antispam, antivirus,  client  firewall and backup exec administration *Good interpersonal and communication skills
*Self-starter and result oriented
*Strong initiative and proven ability to work independently


Finance Manager

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* Responsible for timely and accurate consolidation and preparation of financial/management reports, analysis and budgets.
* Formulate and review finance & purchasing policies & procedures.
* Manage cash flow and prepare monthly cash flow reports
* Determine and liaise with third party for the investment of funds and maintain all investment portfolios
* Ensure full set of accounts is properly maintained and smooth year-end audit processes
* Plan and initiate internal audit
* Liaise with banker, creditors, suppliers, company secretary, and any other third party as required
* Lead and review staff performance of the finance team, purchasing and front office operations
* Any other adhoc projects and duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

* Degree in Accountancy/ACCA
* Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin speaking users
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
* Conversant in implementing effective corporate governance in non-profit organization will be an added advantage
* Conversant with Microsoft Excel/Access
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills
* Able to build a cohesive team and relate well with all levels of staff
* Self-driven, resourceful, independent, integrity

Project Executive (Curriculum)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* To build, maintain teams of volunteers to improve lesson plans and teaching aids
* To supervise and manage teachers in the learning and application of the current teaching methodologies in the classroom
* To prepare teaching aids & and print worksheets
* To hold weekly meetings with teachers & record minutes
* Assist in other projects as and when assigned
* To work with other departments in successfully accomplish monastery projects

Job Specifications:

* Possess at least a diploma in teaching profession with strong foundation in Buddhism
* Preferably with formal training in education
* At least 3 years of teaching experience preferably in primary school
* S'pore Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Bilingual in English and Mandarin
* Creative, dynamic and proactive
* Able to multi task, meet tight schedules and work on weekends
