Venerable
Kwang Sheng, whose late master is Venerable
Hong Choon (the late Abbot of Kong Meng San Phor Kark
See Monastery), is the sixth Abbot of the Monastery.
Venerable tends to the everyday running of the temple and
gives guidance to fellow volunteers, without which
many large-scale events activities would not be possible.
Seeing the importance of
Dharma education, he founded the temple's Dharma Propagation
Division(DPD) in 1998, which comprises of many young full-time Buddhist
workers.
With the growth of DPD, a wide range of Buddhist activities and
services are now available both within and beyond the temple.
Venerable
is also an avid Buddhist musician and has co-produced several
bestselling albums. He also assists several Buddhist organisations
on an advisory basis. Some of them are as below:

Education Centre , a non-profit organisation dedicated to continuous
education and personal enrichment to improve the well-being of the
individual, company, family and community.
