WHAT IS BUDDHISM AND WHAT CAN I GAIN FROM IT?
Dharma Talk by Sylvia Bay

Clarify any questions on Buddhism and Buddhist practice that you may have.

WHAT IS THE POINT IN BUDDHISM?
Dharma Talk by Sylvia Bay
Generally, we know that the Buddha's teachings are to abandon evil doing, practice virtue well and master your own mind. Yet, what is the point if we are constantly struggling to survive or get ahead in this competitive world?  Unlike the great masters, most of us are prone to anger, greed, and getting even when wronged. At times, our kindness may be taken advantage of, or mistaken as meekness. So what is in for me to practice the Buddha's teachings?
