Title: How to talk to your children mindfully so they will listen
Synopsis: As parents, are there times when you find yourself feeling frustrated because your child is not doing what you have instructed? And are there times when your child tells you “you are not listening to them”. Communication is an important day-to-day functioning and it is also an area which we tend to overlook because of a “mind-full” mind. This sharing aims to provide effective communication strategies and exploring mindfulness practice into parent-child communication.
主题：谁‘听’谁‘说’ – 如何以正念与孩子沟通
大纲：身为家长，您曾是否经历过孩子无法听从指示而生气？孩子也是否与您说过“你没有在听我说话”？我们每天都与他人沟通，但往往我们的散乱心使我们忽略了这项生活小细节。此讲座将分享有效的沟通技巧并探讨如何将正念融入于亲子沟通.
About Billy Loh
Billy Loh is a registered social worker and he works full-time in a Family Service Centre. He graduated from Singapore University of Social Sciences (previous known as UniSIM) with a Master of Social Work, and had obtained a Bachelor of Social Science from Edith Cowan University (majoring in Applied Counselling, Community and Welfare Work). Billy is also an accredited Prepare/Enrich Program facilitator. In his free-time, Billy volunteers actively in both the secular and Buddhist communities. He is currently assisting and helming various voluntary positions such as the Chairperson for Training and Professional Development under Singapore Association of Social Workers, Resource Panel under Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery Counselling and Social Service Department, Committee Member for Manjusri Secondary School Management Committee and Publicity Secretary for Manjusri Secondary School Alumni Association, and other communities and organisations. Billy is also an adjunct lecturer with Buddhist College of Singapore, teaching the module “Buddhism and Social Work”.
关于荣顺
罗荣顺(普泉)是全职与合格注册的社会工作者并在一所家庭服务中心任职。他毕业于新跃社科大学并荣获社会工作学硕士，也荣获澳大利亚伊迪斯科文大学辅导与社区福利工作（双主修）学士。荣顺也是一名Prepare/Enrich爱情婚姻心理合格测评师。闲暇时间荣顺以义务方式积极参社区与佛教工作。这些义务工作包括新加坡社工协会理事会成员（培训与专业发展主任）、光明山普觉禅寺心理辅导与社会服务资源联系团成员、文殊中学董事会理事会与校友会成员，其他现任的义务工作等。他也是新加坡佛学院的兼职讲师并教授《佛教与社群工作》。
